Renting a car is the best way to visit the island and explore it at your own pace. No rigid schedules, no rush, and total freedom to stop wherever and whenever you want.

In the region, roundabouts are navigated clockwise (drive on the right)

Enter the roundabout only after yielding to vehicles already circulating within it, regardless of the lane they are using. If you intend to leave the roundabout at the first exit, stay in the right-hand lane. If you plan to take any other exit, move to the right-hand lane only after passing the exit immediately before the one you intend to take, gradually approaching it and changing lanes only after ensuring it is safe to do so. Respect traffic rules and avoid accidents.
